As Creative Director at Bluesky Interactive, I try to bring a straightforward viewpoint to anything from a one-off html email campaign to the most sophisticated back-office administration system; I'll happily incorporate logo design, icon generation, and even the odd bit of copy writing.
I've spent over ten years producing creative digital solutions, working with clients ranging from major automotive names to boutique web offerings, with lots in between. I'm a straight-talking, hard-working, conscientious designer and I’m eager to find elegant solutions to complex problems, seeing through the jargon and delivering the goods. Equally at ease working to the stringent CI guidelines of a big corporation or the trickiest brief, I’m confident demonstrating my ideas to any audience.
This site was originally built using the 960gs framework, but I'm looking at cssgrid.net now to see if it's easier to work with across more browsers. Hopefully everything still looks pretty tidy on an iPhone!
My little project - a bike-engined Hillman Imp. Why? Well, why not... It's sort of been done before, but not quite like this. See some pics on the right.

An innovative website, with the ambitious aim of becoming the complete online car buying and owning experience, from purchase through to servicing and accessories.
Development of the site saw us take inspiration from not just other market-leading websites in the automotive arena, but also ground-breaking sites which have been successful in their own field. These include elements like suggesting accessories to go with the visitor's choice of used car (thanks, amazon!). Visit the site.
Website for a multi-franchise car dealer group based in the South-West. The Group site works as the parent and shows all of their used vehicle stock, while also linking to the sister sites which represent each of their brands (Audi, Peugeot, Volkswagen and VW Vans).
The design is based around quite a simple structure, personalised for each franchise with a specific heading background and colour palette, and is sensitive to each brand's own identity. Visit the site here.
A slightly off-the-wall site for a personality known for his individual style - Richard Randall is an interior designer seen on ITV's 60 Minute Makeover and also a regular contributor to numerous style magazines.
His site needed to reflect his attitude: Randalise Don't Vandalise is his personal strapline and the site conveys this with the subtle paisley background and the unusual colour choices. The fixed menu on the left helps too. Take a look at Richard's site.
